2017-2018 (Junior):
Alcala solidified himself as one of the Tigers' top swimmers his junior year having the fastest time by any Pacific swimmer in the 100 back (48.31), 200 fly (1:47.19), and two top three finishes in the 50 fly (22.91) and 200 back (1:47.34). Alcala also helped set a new program-record for the Orange and Black in the 200 medley (1:26.21) and 400 medley (3:12.15). Both of Alcala's top 100 back times were set at the MPSF Championships (Feb. 17).  

2016-17 (Sophomore):
Alcala put up Pacific's best time of the year in the 200 Fly with his 1:47.83 time.  That put him less than a second away from breaking the school record set by Krzysztof Zoldak in 2005.

2015-16 (Freshman):
Alcala began his Tiger career in the middle of the season.  The freshman put up a 1:23.32 time in the 150 Back against UNLV as well as a 23.76 in the 50 Fly.
