The Pacific women's soccer team announced the addition of freshman defender Camryn Scully to the team on Tuesday afternoon. Scully will be eligible to play in the upcoming season.
Scully joins the Tigers from Padua Academy in Wilmington, Delaware. Padua is one of the top teams in the nation at No. 19 and is the top-ranked program in Delaware. Padua posted a 20-1 record in 2018. Scully won three state titles in her time at Padua and as an individual was named a Regional All-American by the United Soccer Coaches. She was also a two-time All-State selection and a three-time All-Catholic selection. She was also named to Delaware's Best XI team.
Scully joins the team as its sixth defender and the only American player on the roster from east of the Mississippi River. Scully and her teammates will take the field for the first time this season on August 7 against Nevada. The team plays its first home match on August 31 against Sacramento State.
