DENTON, Texas - Wrapping up their six-game slate, the Orange and Black will fare off against Conference USA opponent, University of North Texas, this Tuesday at 10:00 AM Pacific Standard Time (PST).
The Tigers look to bounce back from a tough couple of games at the Oklahoma State Hall of Fame Classic this past weekend. Pacific lost it's games against Saint Francis, UConn, Purdue, Drake, and No. 24 Oklahoma State.
Outfielder Samantha Owen led the way for the Tigers at the OSU Classic with three hits, one triple, and one home run. Bethany Hammer pitched a total of 10.1 innings this past weekend and recorded a team-high 11 strikeouts, seven of them coming against the Huskies of UConn.
For North Texas, the Mean Green are currently 9-10 on the year coming off of a three-game series with Charloette University.
UNT's Katie Clark and Ochotnicki head into their matchup against Pacific with a .407 and .358 batting average. Outfielder Hanna Rebar will also be a player to watch for the Mean Green, leading the team in home runs (7), RBI (17), and total bases (36). Rebar had two hits, three RBI, and one scored one run over the weekend for North Texas.
