2017-2018 (Junior):
Appeared in 11 games and made five starts for the Orange and Black. Went 1-2 at the plate against Georgia Tech (March 23rd). Also reached base on a walk on April 14th versus BYU. Held a season fielding percentage of 1.000. 

2016-2017 (Sophomore):
Appeared in 17 games for the Orange and Black in an injury-shortened season. Hit a career-high .226 at the plate with six RBIs and eight runs scored. Got her first hit of the year against #23 California (Mar. 1) and also scored a run. Knocked her first career double in the 3-2 victory over Princeton (Mar. 21) and had her first multi-hit performance after going a perfect 2-for-2 with a double and three batted in against Dartmouth (Mar. 25). Hit her first career triple en route to a 8-2 win over San Diego (Apr. 8). 

2015-2016 (Freshman):
In her first season donning the Orange and Black, Covington appeared in 22 games, logging eleven starts. The outfielder batted .111 in 18 at bats, and scored four runs. Both of Covington's hits on the year came against Stanford, where she also registered her first RBI.

High School:
Covington finished the 2015 campaign leading her Los Alamitos Griffins to a undefeated Sunset League Championship as well as a berth in the CIF Southern Section Quarterfinals. Following a season in which she hit .462 with 11 RBI, she was named Varsity Offensive Player of the Year in addition to All-Sunset League First team and the Orange County Register's All-County Second Team. She was also named All-Sunset League Second Team following the 2014 season. She helped the Griffins to a 21-13 record and a second place finish in the Sunset League during her junior season. Following the campaign, she received the Los Alamitos' Coaches Award and was named a NFCA Scholar Athlete.  In addition, Taylor was named to the StudentSports.com Top 100 prospects list for 2015. Prior to her sophomore campaign, Covington was named an "Orange County Player to Watch" by the Orange County Register. She has been a scholar athlete and member of the honor roll for all four years at Los Alamitos.  She served as an active member of the National Charity League, holding cabinet positions in the South Coast Chapter.

Taylor is the daughter of Gary and Michelle Covington. She is a Health, Exercise and Sport Sciences major with plans to pursue a career in physical therapy.
