Tigers win second-straight at San Jose State

Pacific women's tennis picked up its second-straight win today with a 4-2 victory on the road at San Jose State.

Pacific cruised to its second win of the year with yet another strong performance in doubles play that clinched the match's first point and freshman Maya Lopez continued to make an impact in her young career with her second-straight match-clinching win at No. 5 singles in three sets.

Pacific fell at No. 1 doubles to start the day, but Juniors Anna Ramos Vinolas and Karina Vyrlan pulled Pacific back even with a win at No. 3 doubles. Their win opened the door for Lopez and senior Anneroos Nederstigt who clinched in doubles with a tight 7-6, (7-0) win at No. 2 doubles.

In singles, San Jose State took a 2-1 lead with wins at No. 6 and No. 4 singles, but the Tigers rallied to win three straight matches to get the victory.
