2017 (Sophomore):
Took second place in the 3000m Steeplechase with a time of 12:20.80 which was good enough for a second place finish at the Johnny Mathis Invite (Feb. 25). Winkler cut into that time in the 3000m Steeplechase with a mark of 12:19.61 at Kim Duyst (Mar. 4). Ran a 5:16.11 in the 1500m at the Aggie Open (Mar. 11). In her first two mile run of the year at the SFSU Distance Carnival (Apr. 1), the freshman breezed through in 11:54.78. Registered a 19:37.53 in the 5000m at Bryan Clay (Apr. 14). Recorded a personal-best 10:54.44 in the 800m at the Bulldog Open (Apr. 22) in Fresno, Calif.. Wrapped up the season at the West Coast Last Chance Open (May 13) with at time of 18:53.87 in the 5000m.

High School:
Winkler had an impressive senior campaign for the Saints, taking home the CVCL championship in the 5k on October 28th, finishing in 20:11, qualifying for the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section finals, where she finished second in 21:09. In the CIF Division V State championships on November 28th, Winkler crossed in 49th place, capping an impressive season amongst the best distance runners in California.
