2013 (Junior):
After earning ACWPC All-America honors as a sophomore, Martin cemented her status as one of the most well-rounded players in the Big West with a stellar junior campaign. She finished third on the team in goals with 32 while playing in each of Pacific's 32 matches. She notched hat tricks against Harvard (Mar. 19) and Cal State Northridge (Apr. 27), and finished the year with a total of nine multi-goal games. Martin led Pacific with 68 assists, racking up seven helpers versus both Cal State Monterey Bay (Mar. 9) and Harvard (Mar. 19). She added 37 steals, good for second on the team, to go along with 18 drawn ejections. 

2012 (Sophomore):
Returning in stellar form for her second season, Martin established herself as one of the Big West’s top players after posting impressive numbers in 2012 en route to earning All-Big West honors. She led the Tigers with 48 goals, good for seventh in the conference. She finished the year with 15 multi-goal games, including a five-goal outing against Santa Clara on Jan. 22 and a four-goal performance versus Fresno Pacific on Feb. 18. She found the back of the cage in every match but four and started the year scoring in Pacific’s first 18 games. The definition of a utility player, Martin was responsible for 47 steals, 31 assists, 30 drawn ejections and 15 field blocks. Her three-goal, three-assist, three-steal, three-drawn ejection performance against UC Davis on Mar. 25 garnered her Big West Player of the Week honors. Martin was recognized as the team’s MVP at its postseason banquet.

2011 (Freshman):
Martin appeared in all 31 games in her first season at Pacific, recording 39 goals, good for third-most on the team. She also notched 35 steals, 32 assists, 22 field blocks, and six drawn ejections. Her steal, assists, and field block numbers were second-most on the team, respectively. Martin earned Big West Player of the Week honors for the week of March 16 after she led the Tigers to a 3-1 record at the Aztec Invitational in San Diego, Calif. For the tournament, she tallied 10 goals, seven assists, three steals, and five field blocks. Martin was also an Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All-Academic honoree.

Martin is a member of Canada's Junior Women's Water Polo National Team. Most recently, she was part of Canada's team at the 2011 World University Games in Shenzen, China. Martin helped her team earn a gold medal in the 2010 Junior Water Polo Championships in Pinecrest, Fla. She also earned gold and bronze medals with Canada's U-16 and U-18 national teams, respectively. Martin won a silver medal as a member of Canada's U-22 squad in 2009.

Martin was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and is the daughter of Steven Martin and Mireille Lemay. She has two sisters, Danielle and Charlotte. Martin lists her hobbies as traveling, baking, and hanging out with friends. She has yet to declare a major.
