STOCKTON, Calif. – The University of the Pacific women's cross country team competes in its final competition at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational on Saturday, October 13, before the West Coast Conference Championships on Saturday, October 27.

Pacific last competed at the Montana Invite on September 28, where Jasmine Gonzalez and Saira Purhar both set records, along with the team as a whole. For the first time in program history, the Tigers beat the Gonzaga Bulldogs.
Gonzalez ran a personal-best time of 18:36.00 to move into fourth place in the all-time record book. Purhar also moved up to sixth with a time of 18:59.70.
Santa Clara Bronco Invitational…
The women's 6K race will be ran second at 9:30 a.m. following the men's 8K race. The course is flat and fast. The Baylands Regional Park is located approximately 10 miles North of Santa Clara University.
Along with Pacific, there will be 27 other schools represented at the Invitational. Pepperdine, Saint Mary's, Gonzaga, Loyola Marymount, and Santa Clara are among the West Coast Conference opponents with Pacific.
Following the Bronco Invitational, the Tigers will head to the WCC Championships in Provo, Utah hosted by Brigham Young University on Saturday, October 27.
